Stop doing cardio workouts to generate fat loss but switch to shorter, more effective fat burning interval training.
This will help you get more fat burning results in less workout time, and you won’t have to do any long, slow boring cardio workouts anymore.

Research even shows that interval training is better than cardio workouts for fat loss.
The big question is – what is interval training anyhow?

Interval training is when a session of hard work is completed followed by a session of easy work.
Although some do prefer the stationary bike for interval training, the treadmill can also be utilised to do interval training fat burning workouts.

A good time to do your interval workouts is immediately after you have completed your strength training session.
With this method you only have 3 full training days per week

However, after you have finished your strength training workout, you will move into the interval training workout.

You must start by warming up for 5 minutes at a progressive pace and then you are going to go 45 seconds at a hard 8.5-9/10 intensity level, followed by 90 seconds at an easy 3/10 intensity level.

You want to make sure you bring it down to a nice and steady pace during your recovery.
This is to ensure that you are able to go really hard during the hard portion.

That counts as one interval and you will repeat that 5 more times for a total of 6 intervals.

For another interval training workout, you’ll again start with your 5-minute warm-up, but instead of 45 seconds, you will do 60 seconds of hard work followed by 90 seconds of recovery.
This time your hard interval will not be as difficult at it was in the first interval workout described, but still at a pretty good pace that allows you to do 60 seconds of hard work.

As a side note, you always want to be able to finish your interval.
If you can’t, then you need to bring the intensity down.

When you come down to your recovery interval, it should always be at the same intensity, and always be very easy.
So, regardless of which interval workout you are going to be performing, you will always return to the same easy level intensity for your recovery period.
Then once again, you are going to repeat the intervals in the workout up to six times and then, always, finish off with a cool down.

In todays society anyone you ask is interested in getting rid of any excessive fat they have.
For this day and age it can be a good thing if they have too much fat but it could be harmful if they only have a small amount of fat.

As someone who is interested in getting rid of any excess and keeping fit and toned it is important to know how to do and how to do it properly to maximise the fat loss.

It is important to know that in trying to lose any excess fat there are specific groups of activities that will burn the fat faster than others.
These methods can help you lose the fat around your middle, the so called spare tyre, lose the excess weight you want to get rid of or give you a way to balance the overall fat loss.

Interval Cardio Training is one methods that can be used for generating fat loss.
It may sound quite technical and scary at first but when you understand more about it you will see that it is one way, and possibly the quickest way, to lose weight.
With Interval Cardio Training you utilise both high and low intensity exercises with your workout regimes.

The way the process works is this:
You complete a set of short exercises with a specific intensity for a specified amount of time.
You complete these exercises in a very intense fashion, and then split the intervals with short rest periods.
You then complete a second set of higher intensity exercises, wash and repeat.
You could use a lighter activity between the intervals, but numerous people say that the best way is to allow your body a short rest period.
Take on liquids because you will sweat it off.

There is nothing set in stone specifying how intense the workout session should be nor how short the rest period should be.
However, to determine these periods you should concentrate on your body and how it feels.
It will be noted that as you build up, as you change either the intensity or the interval length will also change the way your body acknowledges the exercises overall and how it works.

There are numerous exercises you can ustilise to work on specific body areas.
Those that support the loss of fat around the mid section are amongst the most popular.
In order to facilitate this, most trainers recommend the following as the way to lose this fat quickly:

* Watch what you eat – make it nutritional — turn your diet into something which gives your entire system the energy you will need to complete intense exercise.
The food you eat should be clean and lean – fruits, vegetables and lean proteins.
You should also reduce or cut out red meat and certainly no fast food.

* Strength training — try working on strengthening the muscle groups in your body.
This is because when you do, you will find the fat will be much easier to burn off.

* Interval cardio training– now you can start your workouts on this because you have built your bodies aerobic system enough to take any added intensity.

* Combine this it with resistance training — resistance training is something that can increase the speed of your weight loss as long as it is interspersed with interval cardio training due to you being able to work specific muscle groups.
This will strengthen the groups being worked.

Another good way to begin your cardio training is to use a machine at the gym or at home.
It is possible that you can get on the machine, work out at a high intensity for 30 seconds, then do a recovery series for 60-90 seconds at a lesser intensity and slower pace, steadily, then repeat.
You could also include other types of cardio exercises such as jogging, swimming or rowing because these may be different sets of exercises for your body.

Once you have completed with any workout you must make sure you complete a warm-down session of very light exercises which include some stretching for any tight muscle groups; only do those that are tight.
Putting the whole lot together will give you the best possible workout and make sure that you have the quick fat loss you want.

To help with the diet side of the regimen why not take a look at the Burrito Diet?

Fit Yummy Mummy Review

What Is It?

This lifestyle program for busy moms is a comprehensive guide to what’s arguably the most widespread, challenging and frustrating issue faced by moms today: how to get their pre-baby body back. For almost all mothers the changes their bodies incur during pregnancy coupled with the countless responsibilities that motherhood bring spell trouble for regaining their pre-pregnancy figure.

There is no shortage of fitness, diet and fat loss products on the market today. You can find a veritable library of conflicting arguments almost anywhere you choose to seek information on the subject of fitness for women, whether it’s online, at your local library, through contact with personal trainers, or through the (less reputable but nevertheless very common) ranks of wannabe experts: aka, those frustrating people with no qualifications and no practical experience but are self professed experts because they ready the last issue of Shape magazine.

What Sets This Product Apart?

After months of frustration spent trawling through the mass of conflicting information on fitness and fat loss, it was with a mixture of joy and near-tearful relief that I stumbled across “Fit Yummy Mummy”, by Holly Rigsby. As the title suggests, this product is specifically for moms wanting to get fit. Literally all aspects of losing fat and getting fit are covered – and the best part is that it is written specifically for busy moms. The material is presented in a manner both chatty and educational – it’s kind of like having a friendly conversation with a close friend that happens to be a fitness expert (with the added benefit of being able to refresh your understanding of the matter at any given time, simply by scrolling back to the relevant section!)

The tone of the book presents a welcome contrast to the other fitness products so freely available elsewhere on the Net: it’s friendly, understanding of the unique situations moms face, informative, and above all, commonsensical. No unrealistic recommendations, 2 hour workouts, or zero-carb diets here: it doesn’t take long to see that this lady knows what she’s talking about when it comes to mom’s lifestyles (and did I mention she’s a mom too?)

What’s Actually Included?

There’s a quick section on getting started and goal setting along with some morale-boosting advice on how to stay on track throughout the program, and then it’s straight into an action plan to get you started on the path to burning baby fat and getting your body back.

The Supportive Nutrition Plan is next – this is particularly helpful! Every conceivable nutrition issue is covered, from how often you should eat to what you should keep in your pantry. And on top of that, it includes a ‘Create a Menu Planner’ to guide you in creating every meal to support your success.

Next, the Fit Yummy Mummy fat loss workouts are covered, but not without easy to follow explanations of the why’s and the how’s for every part of the workout program. The workout plan even offers four different formats that you can plug into your lifestyle, something not found in any of the cookie cutter fat loss programs on the market. My favorite part of the workout section is that regardless of your exercise (or lack of exercise) background, there is a workout designed specifically for you. And no matter what you fitness level is, none of the workout programs require more than 90 minutes a week.

Finally, there’s a section called the Busy Mom’s Fat Loss Companion crammed with easy to use tools and resources like a goal setting sheet, fitness journal, exercise descriptions and even a ready made grocery list. The author has figured out every excuse and obstacle busy moms have and addressed them all.

Just Because It’s Detailed Doesn’t Mean It’s Confusing

Sound overwhelming? It’s actually very user-friendly. Not only is this e-book packed with sound practical advice and the whole thing is laid out in a very logical and easy-to-understand format, but it comes with a Quick Start Guide to make sure you start acting (and seeing results) fast. The tone of Fit Yummy Mummy light and non-threatening (no scientific terminology here!) and it proceeds in a logical manner from step to step, with plenty of photos and descriptions to ensure that you are doing everything right.

Troubleshooting

In my opinion, one of the best parts: a follow up e-mail coaching series from the author that keeps you on track, gives you daily fitness tips and even healthy recipes. While most moms have the best of intentions, staying on track is tough. This follow up e-mail coaching series is the perfect solution.

The Verdict

Regaining their pre-pregnancy body is a daunting task for most moms, but the author’s personal experience and hands on work with over 250 moms is pretty reassuring; and she certainly knows how to break it down for even the most exercise illiterate. In addition to the main features detailed above, there are plenty of valuable extras included to make getting your pre-baby body back as easy as possible: checklists, do’s and don’ts, printable workout sheets, even ready to follow meal plans!

All in all, two thumbs up from me: when the information on hand is as detailed, easy to absorb, and – above all – reliable as Fit Yummy Mummy, you really can’t go wrong.

Well I guess in a way we all wonder at times.

Looking at the keyword listings on the web , one of the most searched for items is ‘weight loss’ so I thought…..

There must be resources out there that people may be interested in to aid and abet them in attaining their target weight.

I’m not looking for ‘The Miracle Weight Loss Formula” – you know the one…. it’s that one we all dream about.

We take the pill (just like the movies) and we instantly shed those pounds…. yeah right !!

So let’s take a look at alternative ways of losing the weight.

Traditionally we grab the dieticians manual change the menu we eat by reducing the plate of food from good interesting plates of calories down to ….er….. celery and salad !!

So let’s start with the mind….

What if…. we could think ourselves thinner… ?

Actualy that my not be quite as mad as it sounds.

If you think about this a little. The mind is full of stuff that the scientists don’t have a clue about, they estimate we only utilise about 10% of it – so what happens with the other 90% ?

If we can ‘program’ our mind to change the way we think about food then this could be a step in the right direction. I’m not saying this is the holy grail and it will solve the problem, but it can be used as part of the arsenal of tools we can call on.

Try these guys… Click Here
Just wander down to the Weight Loss bit at the bottom of the page.

Quote – “The key to losing weight is believing you can, and thinking yourself thin. It may sound unrealistic to some, but think of how many different techniques have you tried that did not yield the results you wanted. Believe it or not, the world responds to thought patterns and positive thinking. Simply stated, your thoughts are a perfect reflection of what is in the process of happening.”
